Brazilian specialty green coffees
Coffers had been founded in 2017 with a clear objective:
To source, process, and export Brazilian specialty green coffees.
The idea of building a bridge between Brazilian farmers and coffee roasters worldwide, both focused on quality, was born at the cupping table in the Caparao mountains, after several years of coexistence in both worlds. As such, we are proud to say that Coffers reflects our respect and attitude toward a unique approach to coffee farming on the beautiful terroir of the Caparao mountains. By working hand in hand with coffee farmers, Coffers is able to monitor quality all year round
After years of farming and roasting, today, we are focused on sourcing, processing, and exporting high-quality coffees. Working exclusively with the coffees from the Caparao mountains, we support the work and growth of our partner farmers. Besides our Brazilian-based company that is responsible for work at origin, and sales inside Brazil and worldwide, we held a subsidiary as well in Slovenia, that was founded to facilitate our operations with European small and medium, quality-oriented roasteries:

We actively seek solely those environmentally friendly farmers that minimize waste and usage of pesticides and consequently strive to reduce the carbon footprint. We trade directly and fairly, to eliminate additional layers between the farmers and roasters. That way, we can guarantee fair payment to the farmers and, competitive prices for roasters as well.

Traceability
Specialty coffee is principally defined by its terroir. So here we are talking about geographical location and its characteristics, climate, farming practices, and more. Every cup of coffee traces a unique journey, always telling a wonderful story and revealing a beautiful landscape. As such, for us, traceability plays a key role in the specialty coffee industry. And we take pride in providing our stakeholders with a clear connection.
